Robin Atkins’s wonderful bead embroidery
by Cyndi Lavin

Robin Atkins is an extraordinary bead artist, and she also writes an entertaining blog! Here, you can keep up with Robin’s new projects and her musings on life.
She is also the co-author of one of my favorite bead embroidery books:

Beaded Embellishment

Thanks Betzie…happy spring to you too
Yes, Robin is simply amazing. I’m so hoping that I can talk her into maybe having an artist profile done here. *crosses fingers*

Gorgeous beadwork, Cyndi! I especially like that last one. It reminds me of molas.

To Cyndi ~ Thanks for posting about me! I’d love for you to do a profile - bring on the questions!
To Betzie & Summer ~ Time goes by quickly when you’re having fun. Bead embroidery is so absorbing that I hardly notice how much time it takes.
To Bobbie ~ The one you like best is a detail shot of “Rosie, the Uncaged Hen.” She’s also a “cover girl” as Lark Publishing chose her for the cover of their book, “500 Beaded Objects” - an unexpected thrill for me.
To Barbara ~ Yes, I’ve known some of your fabulous Alaskan beaders. I loved teaching in Anchorage (3 times!) and Sitka.
