Santa Fe charm necklace
Cindy Powell recently showed me the necklace she made that was inspired by my fabric beaded Spring Fling, whose instructions appeared in the May/June issue of Jewelry Crafts. As a designer herself, Cindy is never content to merely follow the directions! See what she did with the basic idea? Among other changes, she decided to add charms to the bottom of each fabric bead, creating this wonderful Santa Fe charm necklace:

Wow - I want this!!! Good idea with the fabric beads, my ceramic would be soooo heavy if I tried this. I’m going to see if I can come up with some sort of a compromise. Already in my head I can hear this necklace chime as it is worn and the components clink together. Any necklace that gives visual and auditory beauty is a bonus!
Thanks,
Elaine

Is there any way to make your ceramic pieces hollow, Elaine?
